Kris finished sinking our tramp last night! He dug the entire hole by hand with a shovel. We've never seen the boys so excited as when the tramp was finally going in (though I think they were just the tiniest bit sad that they couldn't slide down into the pit and dig anymore). The first thing they said when they woke up was that they wanted to go out and jump!

The beginning of the hole....
The boys were actually great little helpers and loved going out to work with daddy in the yard!
By the way....if anyone needs a lot of dirt - I know where you can get some!!

I am so excited to come and jump! I can't believe that Kris dug it all out by hand. Did you watch the movie "Holes" every night for tips?
O.K. that is amazing. Way to go Kris, that is ALOT of digging. Your kids are going to have so much fun with that. I'm jealous.
How fun for your boys!! And in your fenced yard :) I want some sand...but I don't think I need dirt.
Have a great Mother's Day weekend Michelle!
So fun, our kids love the tramp, and I love it when they are in the ground-maybe our next house!
WOW! I think I would have died if I'd have to do that by hand! How fun though! Tramps are always so fun for kids (heck--I still enjoy an occassional bum war!)
I can't beleive he dug that! Are you guys going to get a net around it? I was just jumping on my brother's trampoline! I like it, and I want to jump some more, but only by myself!
Kris had practice. When we were kids, we dug a deep pit around the fort as a trap for trespassers. It wasn't as dangerous as some of our other ones, though.
