Here is a conversation from lunch today:
Cole: You know who made this fry sauce? Uncle Rico!
Josh: No he didn't. Jesus made it.
Cole: No, Jesus just made the bottle. Uncle Rico made the fry sauce.
It's been awhile since I've posted anything...maybe one day I will actually load my Easter pictures on my computer. In the meantime, here's an update on Josh. Josh had his appendix burst. He has been sick for 3 weeks. We took him to the ER early in this and the doctor didn't catch it. Luckily we were able to take him in this past week and get more tests and he was admitted to Primary Children's Hospital for 3 days. They sent us home after putting a PICC Line in Josh and we are giving him heavy-duty antibiotics to kill the infection, as well as pain medication. We have an appointment this week with the Surgeon to see where things are at, but once the infection is all cleared up they will go in and remove his appendix. They caught it too late and if they did surgery this week it would have re-spread all of the infection throughou his body, so that is why we are waiting. This will apprently create an easier surgery with better results...a faster recovery. Josh has been SO tough and brave and has been through a lot. We are so grateful for all of our family and friends and all of the support that we have received!

So sorry about Josh. That must have been pretty scary for everyone. I hope his recovery goes well. What a good boy he is to have been so tough through it all.
Uncle Rico? Like, Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite? Your boys are so funny.
Glad to hear Josh is home and doing well. Let me know if you need anything.
I'm sorry. that is so rough. I hope josh will be feeling better soon, poor little guy.
Thanks for the update! Not fun at all. I can't believe the doctors missed it the first time, poor little guy.
Glad he is okay and hope he feels like himself real soon (and mom) I know how draining these situations can be!
that just sucks. Kris were thinking of you guys and hope the best for Josh. Like my dad always says. Thats life then you die and then they throw dirt in your face. What a silly dad i have
I so wish we were there to help. Glad things are going better. Keep us posted! By the way when i told Trey what was going on with Josh I asked him if we should keep him in our prayers and he said, 'we can but Josh is a super hero so he already has those powers". You are in our prayers! Love you guys!
Michelle--that is terrible!!! Good luck Josh!!
Poor little dude. He is such a little tough stud though! That is so funny about Alaria, she must have learned those fighting words from her brothers.
I love the religious tone that Cole is taking. I know it's a break from Mormon tradition but you might want to enter him into Divinity School
Sorry to hear about Josh's misfortune. Sounds like he's being a tough kid though. We'll be thinking of him.
I hope you get good news this week for Josh. Keep us updated. Poor little guy!
I hate when kids get so sick. Are you guys all doing okay? I'm sure it's been exhausting, Michelle call and vent if you need to.
