Do you remember when we announced 5 weeks ago that we had a baby girl named Mariella that was 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 19” long?
Well, most of that information was correct...
We realized that we got the name wrong. We love that name, but after spending some time with her, we’ve come to the realization that it just isn’t her name.

We had a little "re-naming party" last night to help make it an easier transition for the kids.
We are all very excited about Claire!

I bet Harley had the most difficulty making the adjustment. I could not be happier for you guys. She is a beautiful girl with a beautiful new name.
Isn't it amazing how babies can let you know who they are! Lovely name. The other one was nice too, but this one sings.
I think that is so fun that you had a party. She is clearly a Claire!! We are so excited for you guys and hope to see you soon!
I love it! I have a friend who named her twins Erin and Jamie and then 4 months later decided that they were Peyton and Reese instead. It will certainly make for a great story to tell throughout her life!

I cant believe I didn't see this earlier!! That's so cute--Claire is a darling name and she is a darling baby! I know several people that have done the same thing a few days/weeks after their babies were born!! Chris said he just saw you the other day, and when I mentioned your baby's name, he seemed confused. Now I know why!!!
So I was reading the blessing post first and was so confused because I knew you hadn't named her Claire, now that I read this post it makes sense! Didn't know you changed her name, but it's beautiful!
